UNO Tournament

This is a Uno cards tournament; it is not on any computer. You are face-to-face with your competitors in our event space, playing cards.

The best of 5 games wins, as this is (1 vs 1) we are not playing for 500 points.

The tournament is single elimination. - (if other players are not waiting for their turn in the tournament, you can keep playing for fun.)

Cost: $5 entry fee - if you want to view, there is no fee.

2nd Place - $10

We have space and cards for 12 games at once.

Rules:

• 1 The player who is not the dealer plays first.
• 2 Match the card on top of the discard pile by number, color, or with a wild or wild draw 4 cards.
• 3. If you don’t have a matching card in your hand, pick a card from the draw pile.
• If you draw a matching card, play it. Otherwise, it’s the other player’s turn.
• Important: Before playing your next-to-last card, you have to say “Uno.” If you don’t and the other player catches you before they play a card or draw one, you have to pick four more cards!
• Once a player plays her last card, she wins the hand, and it’s over.
• Switch dealers and play again

Custom Wild Cards from The Bank -

• Pick a number: The player who plays this card chooses a number and the next player must either play that number or draw from the deck until they find one.
• Wildcard discard: Play this card and all other players (except you) must discard the wild cards from their hand.
• Swap hands: Play this card and choose a player to swap hands with.

Community Voted Wild Card

• Color freeze: Choose a color that can only be played for the next 5 cards. This prohibits wild cards or matching based on numbers alone.
